Composition of the Quality Assurance Committee

The University Quality Assurance Board is appointed by Rector's Decree and is composed as follows:

a) the President designated by the Rector

b) from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 10 members appointed by the Board of Directors, on proposal of the Rector, from among tenured professors and technical-administrativestaff of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

Where possible, the members of the Quality Assurance Board must be chosen in compliance with the principle of gender equality;

c) 3 student representatives, elected by the student representatives who are members of the Faculty Councils, of which:

  •  2 for the Po Valley campuses (i.e. Milan, Brescia and Piacenza-Cremona)
  •  n. 1 for the Rome campus

d) 1 representative of students enrolled in doctoral programmes, managed with administrative headquarters at Università Cattolica.

In order to ensure coordination with the Faculties' Quality Assurance (QA) structures and their contact persons, as well as to verify the implementation of QA activities by the relevant bodies (e.g. Review Groups, Professors-Students Joint Committees, etc.), the University Quality Assurance Board is supplemented by a professor designated by each Faculty of the University (PQA-F).
