Functions of the Academic Assessment Team
The Academic Assessment Team exercises the following powers:
- it verifies the quality and effectiveness of the educational offer;
- it verifies research and third mission activities;
- it evaluates, taking into account the provisions of art. 6 bis of the Statute, quality assurance policies and verifies the correct functioning of the system;
- it prepares annual or multi-year reports concerning teaching, research and third mission, to be sent to the bodies and administrations on the basis of current legislation.
The Academic Assessment Team also carries out surveys and drafts opinions, also at the request of the governing bodies and other structures of the University, aimed at improving the processes concerning university management.
The Support Function is established with the task of (art. 58 of the General Regulations):
- enabling the Academic Assessment Team to carry out its work;
- collecting and organising data relating to teaching, research and third mission activities;
- analysing the data coming from the competent technical-administrative offices;
- assisting in the drafting of the global report to be transmitted to the bodies and administrations on the basis of current legislation.
