Joint Committee and Review Group: Students' contribution
All locations - Online meeting on the Blackboard platform
As part of the training initiatives planned by the FormaAQ Group of the University Quality Assurance (PQA), a meeting was held on Tuesday 18 July aimed mainly at the student component of the Joint Committees and Review Groups (following the student elections last May, in fact, the members of the QA bodies of the Faculties and Courses of Study have been extensively renewed). The aim of the training moment, held on the Blackboard platform, was to accompany and enhance the contribution of students to quality assurance processes, encouraging active and competent participation.
Prof. Andrea Gaggioli, contact person for the FormAQ project and member of the PQA, opened the work with a brief introduction.
This was followed by Dr. Stefano Cerea, coordinator of the "Quality Assurance and Accreditation" Organisational Unit, presenting a document illustrating guidelines and tools for students' contribution to the activities of the CPDS and Review Groups (see the slides).
Dr. Elena Toppi, from the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit, then offered some practical suggestions for the work of the CPDS and the consequent drafting of the annual report (see the slides).
Representing the Support Function to the Evaluation Unit, Dr. Gerardo Ferrari drew – on the basis of the experience accumulated through the hearings – some attention that can make the activity of CPDS and Review Groups even more fruitful (see the slides).
The training moment ended with the intervention of Prof. Maria Teresa Zanola, member of the Evaluation Team, who retraced the main ideas of the meeting by rereading them from the perspective of an expert commissioner of evaluation (CEV).
