What will the ANVUR visit be like? Meeting with Alessio Ancaiani

How will the ANVUR visit be structured and what will be the involvement of teachers and students?

On Thursday 13 February, in the Aula Magna, Alessio Ancaiani, manager in charge of the University Evaluation Area at the National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research (ANVUR) met with professors, students and technical-administrative staff to illustrate the contents, procedures and deadlines of the ANVUR periodic accreditation visit (download slides).  The event, promoted by the Rector and the University Quality Assurance Committee in collaboration with the of Evaluation, was also followed by videoconference from the offices of Brescia, Piacenza and Rome.

Introduced by the Rector, Prof. Franco Anelli, who recalled the need to strengthen and increase the overall awareness of the quality assurance system, Dr. Ancaiani first illustrated the motivations and the process that led to the progressive introduction of evaluation at European level, then dedicating a specific in-depth study to the periodic accreditation visit by the Expert Evaluation Commissioners (CEV) of ANVUR.

Due to the health emergency, the visit to Università Cattolica has been rescheduled for April 2021.
